David is an industrial manufacturing veteran with over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and manufacturing. David began his career with The Lincoln Electric Company as a technical sales representative and also worked for the Regal Beloit Corporation in several roles including Vice President, General Manager of Lincoln Motors and Global Account Manager for Regal Beloit’s largest customer. David joined Bluffton Motor Works in 2008 as the President and CEO. Bluffton Motor Works is a manufacturer of motors, controls and gearboxes. Bluffton Motor Works currently employees over 400 people in three locations, with its largest facility located in Bluffton Indiana. In his current capacity David and his team are focused on delivering value to their customers.
David earned his Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt and has successfully been trained in and implemented lean manufacturing principles. David and his wife Debra reside in Fort Wayne with their two children: Jordan and Camden.
David has earned many awards throughout his career including most recently being a regional finalist for the E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
