F. Adam Korona

F. Adam Korona received a B.S. in Aerospace and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University in 1997 followed by an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland in 2002. Adam currently works for Jacobs Engineering at the NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston, Texas, where he serves as the NASA Fire Cartridge Project Manager for the International Space Station (ISS) and Orion Programs. Adam began his career working as a software applications engineer for Lockheed Martin Management and Data Systems in Gaithersburg, Maryland. In 2002, Adam moved to Houston to work for Boeing as an Extravehicular Activity (EVA) Systems Engineer supporting the construction of ISS, and then as a Corporate Enterprise Auditor enhancing controls and efficiencies for the Boeing Company worldwide. In 2008, Adam Left Boeing to join Jacobs Engineering as part of the team developing the next generation EVA space suit as part of the Constellation Program (CxP). After CxP was canceled Adam worked as a systems engineer and project manager supporting various NASA engineering projects related to advancing EVA Space Suit technologies. Roles included Project Manager for the ISS SERFE payload and being both the hardware lead and Associate Subsystem Manager for the Exploration Extravehicular Activity space suit (xEMU) Exploration Portable Life Support System (xPLSS). Adam currently lives in League City, Texas, with his wife and two amazing children.
